Go Team Frickin’ Fascics!
The wettest day on record in Chicago history!
The weather did not stop our Team Warren’s Frickin’ Fasciculations from coming out to play in the rain. Over 40 friends and family made the trip to Montrose Harbor to join in the
Les Turner’s annual Walk4Life to raise funds and awareness for ALS. Team Warren’s Frickin’ Fascics raised over $4,000 for the Les Turner Foundation.
The Les Turner ALS Foundation’s mission supports:
- Medical research into the cause, treatment and cure of ALS
- Clinical and support services for patients and families living with ALS
- Dissemination of information about the disease
Come out and walk with us again on Saturday, September 12, 2009 for the 8th Annual Walk4LIfe!

Dad and Lad Cake Bake and Auction
Here is a great example of our Scout’s lending a helping hand. Cubpack #3729 and Boy Scout Troop #729 held a Dad/Lad bake off on April 14th at the Palos East Commons.
Scouts were encouraged to bake a cake which were judged by several Palos East staff, and then auctioned off by our own Ms. Turner!!! They raised $2,150 dollars for Warren and his family.
A big THANKS to Kathy Mazies, and to everyone who helped make this a special night.
